HEURO welcomes you to the Annual Conference 2014 at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland.

 

The Committee has been working hard to finalise the programme, but unfortunately we still have a few items to be confirmed so please bear with us whilst we complete these arrangements.  Further information will follow as soon as it becomes available.

 

This year's Conference will focus on the new Erasmus+ programme. The National Agency has agreed to participate in the Conference and hopes to provide further details and materials on the first year of the new programme during their session. This year we have also included sessions from guest speakers which will hopefully provide new insight to student mobility and some of the more challenging areas.

 

We are currently working with the UK HE International Unit to try and arrange to co-locate the next Outward Mobility Community of Practice meeting with the Conference. 

 

The Conference Dinner will be held at Sloans, Glasgow’s oldest bar and restaurant and the dinner will be followed by a Ceilidh.

 

A limited number of rooms are being held for participants at the Holiday Inn Express at a cost of £85.00; this includes an Express Start Breakfast.  Rooms are also being held at the Holiday Inn at a cost of £100 to include a Full Scottish Breakfast.  Both hotels are within walking distance of the conference venue.  We strongly advise prompt registration if you wish to book a room at the Holiday Inn Express.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ROOMS AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HAVE NOW BEEN TAKEN.

Registration is now open and payments may be made online by credit card or by invoice.  Please note that there will no refunds for cancellations made after 30th April 2014.
