Following the successful event in December 2013, The UK HE International Unit, HEURO and Quality Assurance Agency are repeating this half-day workshop on quality assurance for outward mobility programmes on 6th March 2014.


The workshop will cover a range of quality assurance and compliance issues and is designed to help institutions deal with the impact of changes to QAA guidance. 


This workshop is aimed at:

·           Individuals responsible for outward mobility, study abroad and work placement programmes

·           Study abroad and international officers

·           Institution quality assurance and compliance officers


The workshop will be facilitated jointly by the UK HE International Unit, HEURO and QAA.  It will be held at Woburn House, 20 Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9HQ.

  Registration is at 10.00 with the workshop running 10.30-14.00.


This workshop will be an opportunity to raise issues which have been of concern within institutions seeking to comply with QAA guidance, as well as learn about the QAA’s approach to quality assurance within the area of outward mobility.  The programme is being finalised but details will be circulated on the HEURO jiscmail as soon as they become abailable.

The cost of the workshop is £100 for HEURO members and £140 for non members.
